Stay safe and have fun!

The internet is a great place to chat to friends and have fun but it's important to stay safe too.

To keep safe you should:

1. Always ask permission before using the Internet.
2. Only email people you know, (why not consider setting up an address book?)
3. ALWAYS get your parents to check your emails. Never open an email sent by someone you don’t know or talk to anyone you don’t know.
4. DON’T use Internet chatrooms other than Sports2Win unless your parents give you permission.
5. NEVER use your real name (create a nickname) or give out your home address, phone or mobile number.
6. NEVER email your school name or a picture in school uniform (even to a friend).
7. NEVER arrange to meet anyone you have met on the internet.
8. TELL an adult immediately if you see anything online you are unhappy with or unsure about.
9. SITE your computer in a family room if possible.
10. NEVER send a picture of yourself or use a webcam without your parents’ permission.
11. NEVER click randomly, always read the description while searching.
12. MAKE your profile, blogs and information PRIVATE not public.
